Washington, D.C.’s hottest rooftop scene this summer was at Elements on U Street and along with thanking the proprietors for the Instagram-worthy floral wall and bottomless mimosa brunches, we really need to be thanking ActivWall. The manufacturer’s Horizontal Folding Windows and Doors were used to ensure the bar and club’s rooftop could be a versatile gathering space not only during the summer but the rest of the year as well.

The window and door units open up for fresh air and scenic views — the U Street area is known as the neighborhood that never sleeps — and offer superior insulation with thermally broken aluminum frames and insulated glass when closed.
